Joe Siegler's Office Pictures

I've been asked many times what my office looks like, so I decided to take some pictures.   I have a reputation of having the most "toys" on his desk here at the office.  Part of that comes from the fact that I have the biggest physical office here in terms of space.  It's not all for me, half of it is for storage, but the room is big even with that stuff in with me.   So here are some pictures.  You can click on any of them for a larger picture.

Pic #1 - Wide Shot of Office

This is a wide shot of my office standing in the door.  To the left you can see some of the storage - the extra drinks for our lunchroom are in the office with me, as I'm the guy who changes out the drinks machines.   I have several pieces of computer equipment here as well as movie posters.

Movie Posters currently up:   Matrix Reloaded, Matrix Reloaded, Matrix, Star Trek: Nemesis, Die Another Day, Monsters, Inc, 2 Simpsons Posters, Texas Rangers 30th Anniversary Calendar, Bill Ward Poster, Tony Iommi Poster, & Boardwatch Magazine "Billgatus of Borg" poster.  I also have probably another 20-30 pictures in poster tubes (you can see them in front of the Monsters Inc poster in the pic).

Computers:  My main computer has two monitors hooked up to it.  These are the two on the left of the four monitors shown.  The computer hooked up to them is below the second monitor from the left.  To the right of that is my old computer I used to use.  It's not hooked up to anything at the moment.  Next is my backup machine.  It's a Windows98 machine which we need to use for testing of customer things from time to time.  The computer for that is right to the left of the third monitor from the left.  The scanner next to that monitor is hooked up to the Win98 machine.  The fourth monitor (partially cut off the right side of the  pic) is attached to the computer to it's left.  This is a pure MS-DOS machine; also kept around for testing purposes.

You can see the gaggle of toys on top of computers, my desk, and the bookshelf to the left of my desk against the wall.   I will detail these things in pictures below.

Pic #2 - DOS Tertiary Computer

This is my DOS machine.  On top of the monitor is an old promotional item for a 1994 game of ours, Rise of the Triad.  It used to hang from the ceiling, but it doesn't do that anymore.   On top of the computer is a Matrix Reloaded promotional item I got from a bookstore.  Finally there's the Duke Nukem & Julie Strain action figures getting jiggy with it.

Pic #3 - Win98 Backup Computer

This computer is my "Enterprise" computer.   I have a model of the ship from the current Star Trek: Enterprise.  In front of it are the action figures for Jonathan Archer, T'Pol, and Ensign Mayweather uh..  interestingly posed.

Pic #4 - The Main Part of my desk

This is a shot of my desk showing you where everything is located.

Pic #5 - One of my monitors

This is my secondary monitor for my primary computer.   On top of it are a couple of Beanie Buddies I happen to find rather cute.  You can also see my Palm Pilot, and the charger/cradle for my wireless rechargeable mouse.

Pic #6 - My primary monitor

On top of this monitor are a few more Beanie Babies that I happen to like.  You can't really put an action figure on top of a monitor, as it's not sitting straight.  Anyway, behind the beanie babies are (L-R): My General Lee car, a Duke Nukem action figure standing on top of it, the DeLorean from Back to the Future, and pictures of my cats, my wife at my wedding ceremony, and myself and her at the Ballpark in Arlington having our pic taken on the field.   There's also a nice B/W picture I took of her here, as well as the famed Nolan Ryan / Robin Ventura picture which isn't very visible at this angle.

Pic #7 - Left side of the top of my desk

Here is the left side of the top of my desk.   There's a lot of stuff, so I'll go L-R.   All 8 action figures from a recent McDonald's giveaway of figures from the movie Finding Nemo.  A real bowling pin with a hat on it, Rainier Wolfcastle (McBain from the Simpsons), Buzz Lightyear with a TiVo antenna ball in one hand, and a Jack in the Box antenna ball in the other.  Veterans Stadium replica with a PigCop from Duke Nukem3D standing in it.  The Ballpark in Arlington replica.  Behind those are McFarlane action figures for Juan Gonzalez (obscured), Alex Rodriguez, & Pudge Rodriguez.  Next to them are bobbleheads for Phillies greats Steve Carlton & Mike Schmidt, with a dual bobblehead of the original Phillies mascots "Philadelphia Phil * Phillis" behind them.  In front of them is a miniature General Lee car.

Pic #8 - Right side of the top of my desk

Here is the left side of the top of my desk.   There's a lot of stuff, so I'll go L-R.   Dual bobblehead of Phillies broadcasters Harry Kalas & Richie Ashburn.  Bobbleheads of Rafael Palmeiro (obscured), Alex Rodriguez, Chan Ho Park, & Pudge Rodriguez, Mini bobblehead of Jason Giambi, a mini Philadelphia Eagles helmet, Wallace & Gromit figures (Wallace, The Wrong Trousers, Gromit, & the Penguin), Q from Star Trek: TNG, some rock sculpture thing, a miniature forklift behind it (and obscured), Worf from Star Trek: TNG, the bug from the Starship Troopers movie, a cat, Morn from Star Trek: DS9, R2D2, The Taco Bell Dog, a Dalek, & a porcelain Duke Nukem 3D sculpture.

Pic #9 - My bookshelf

This is the bookshelf on the left side of my office.  Most of the action figures on the top are from the TV series Babylon 5.   L-R the B5 figures are: Kosh, Susan Ivonova, Marcus, Mr Garibaldi, Vir, Sheridan, Delenn, Dr Franklin, Londo, G'Kar, and a large Lennier standing behind them.   In front of the B5 figures are some small Star Wars figures.  The Star Wars figures from L-R are: Mace Windu, Darth Vader (hard to see), Queen Amidala (facing the wrong way in front of Sheridan <g>), Darth Maul, Anakin Skywalker, and Jango Fett (in front of the Max Payne boxes).   There's also a Jar-Jar Binks that's being hung - you can see that on the left side of the bookshelf.   Additionally, there's a large James Bond figure behind the B5/Star Wars figures.  That's the Timothy Dalton version of Bond (my favorite).    There's also Mike Wazowski (Monsters Inc), and Bugs Bunny figures here, too.

That's about it.   I have a lot of toys in my office.   I'll probably have more eventually, which will mean I'll need to update the page again.  :)
